Day 8 - 02.08.15 - Penang to Phuket

The minibus arrived at 04:30 to take us to Phuket. We crossed the Thai border at 07:50 with relatively little difficulty.

We had to change mini buses at a place called Hang Mai.

We stopped at a service station to use the 'flush-it-yourself' toilets - a bucket filled with water and a pan that you flushed the toilet with. There were showers in the toilet as well. Kelsey didn't realise this and thought the tap for the shower was the toilet flush, and got soaked!!

We arrived in Phuket at about 15:30. And checked into our hostel - Lub Sbuy Guest House where we will be staying for 5 nights. 

We found a lovely restaurant for dinner. I had chicken noodle soup and it was lovely, also lovely that it cost less than £1!!!! 

Getting an early night tonight as we're all very tired!
