Short post today. We spent the day exploring the Khao San area where we are staying. We booked our travel to Siem Reap, got in a taxi and then decided we didn't want to go anywhere so jumped straight back out, booked a trip to the floating markets and Kelsey and I booked a trip to see some Elephants. Between all of that, we managed to fit in a proper spicy curry which we thoroughly enjoyed.
We made a friend yay! Her name is Olivia and she's from Texas. We went out for dinner with her and I had a delicious pat Thai (sorry mum no picture tonight). We then went for a cocktail and are now in bed as we have to get up early tomorrow in order to go to the floating markets.
We went to the floating markets 25yrs ago and then inadvertently went to watch a show including a mongoose fighting a cobra, as part of out tour - hopefully things have moved on since then! Are you going to ride a nelephant?
