The girls made best friends with the resident cat. I hate the cat. Eventually, when the rain did stop at about 6 O'clock, we took a stroll around Phuket Town to a park called Saphan Hin, with a small beach.

Day 9 - 03.08.15 - "we only make friends with people that can't understand us"
We moved rooms this morning as we had booked a three bed private room. It is very nice. It has rained in Phuket nearly all day, so we have spent the day recuperating from all our travelling and playing card games. We attempted to make friends with some of the other people staying in the hostel but think we scared them off as they ignored us for the rest of the day! We went out for breakfast at a little cafe down the road and got very wet doing so! Kelsey had a stir fried curry and Sophie and I had 'deep fried bread dipped egg'. Turned out to be eggy bread and a vanilla custard sauce and very very nice. Accompanied with hot coco, it was delicious. It was £1.60!

Hey you got the Asia pants. Fab!! I hate the look of that cat too. Fingers crossed for dry weather tomorrow. Xx
ReplyDeleteI told you £16 for that coat was money well spent. I have googled what to do on a rainy day in Phuket - there is a museum and an aquarium....but most of the websites say it doesn't rain forever so fingers crossed for a dry day tomorrow x
ReplyDeleteI'll do my sun dance for you! Let me know if it works,x
ReplyDeleteAuntie Sue your sun dance definitely worked!! Although maybe you did a little too much freestyle as we have all burnt!! X
